We have experience of delivering counselling in primary and secondary schools in Leicester and Leicestershire
Delivery
Counselling delivery
is tailored to the individual requirements of children, young people,
carers, families, school or cluster of schools. Family Counselling
where possible is recommended for children over five and under eleven
years of age.
Counselling takes place in
the school. Counselling sessions, subject to negotiation, are weekly
and term time. Full administrative support will be provided to enable
the smooth integration of counselling into the pastoral systems.
Quality Assurance
- the management, monitoring, evaulation and accountability of Wellspring Schools Counselling Service is the responsibility of the Director of Service
- the 'Ethical Framework for Good Practice' of the BACP guides our confidential work with clients
- records are kept according to data protection guidelines
- legal consultation is provided by BACP
